Mr. Attaf arrived in Addis Ababa

Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs Mr. Ahmed Attaf, commissioned by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, arrived Tuesday evening in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to take part in the 48th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the African Union, to be held on February 11-12.

The ministerial meeting, held in preparation for the African Union Summit scheduled for 14-15 February 2026, will discuss a range of issues related to the role and standing of joint African action in addressing the continent's most pressing political, security, and development challenges.

On the sidelines of the Executive Council's proceedings, the Minister of State will hold bilateral talks with several of his counterparts, the foreign ministers of brotherly African states.
